How sustainable (or unsustainable) is China's miracle growth since Deng's reforms?

About
A free public seminar at SOAS University of London on China's economic miracle since Deng Xiaoping's reforms. Professor Kent Deng of the LSE presents his book 'The Rise and Fall of China's Economic Miracle, 1950-2030', charting China's economy from the 14th century to today. He explains how Deng's state-led model lifted China to the world's second largest economy, and argues that with doors now closing to its trade, China would need a new miracle to return to pre-2010 growth. The event, organised by the SOAS China Institute and chaired by Professor Steve Tsang, requires registration.
