About
Huella is a danced installation-performance about an ambiguous waterfall carrying the memory of water at the edge of ecological collapse. It is created and performed by Isadora, a French-Tunisian artist and Vogue performer based in London, with soundscapes by Santiago Jara and live flamenco guitar by Michael McMahon. Through eco-poetic symbolism, flamenco soundscapes and a movement language drawing on contemporary improvisation, Vogue and flamenco, it explores solastalgia, the grief of a familiar environment transforming while we still live in it. Fragments from Lorca's Suites and Libro de poemas appear as poetic undercurrents.
