About
KOKONA is a dance theatre duet exploring ideas around body, identity and self-expression. It is presented by AllouAqui Dance Theatre, choreographed and performed by Delicia Sefiha and Xavi De Santos, with creative producer Sam De La Torre and some original music by Jordan Dilger. The piece follows KOK and KONA, two figures who explore their own and each other's bodies and playfully experiment with the feminine and masculine, creating space for transformations. It builds a world where bodies are detached from their materiality, imagining how we would experience different norms and constraints if we had not yet embodied them.
