About
A live concert by Junior Brother at The Star Inn, an evening of music in the folk idiom. Junior Brother is the stage name of Irish alt-folk songwriter Ronan Kealy, born in County Kerry and based in Dublin, who sings in his own unapologetic accent with a percussive, almost feral guitar style. His 2019 debut album Pull The Right Rope was nominated for Album of the Year at the Choice Music Prizes and Best Folk Album at the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards, and his second LP The Great Irish Famine followed in 2022. The show is promoted by Jasta 11 Promotions and admits guests aged 18 and over.
