About
The Wran play a live concert at The Lower Third, joined by special guest Sam Grassie. The band are four brothers from County Waterford, Ireland — Tommy, Danny, Seán and Stephen Dunford. They give Irish music a fresh voice, blending traditional sounds with punk and a hint of psychedelia, and use instruments including banjo, harmonium, acoustic guitar, bass VI and drums. Drawing on Planxty, The Pogues and Lankum, they keep Irish language, songs and storytelling alive while pushing the tradition forward in their own way.
