Critics
7.6Very good
Critics praise the film's bold multi-timeline structure, striking imagery, emotional power and recovery of Spain's queer history, calling it dazzling and richly crafted. Some fault its sprawling, undisciplined melodrama, overlong length and heavy-handed, overwrought storytelling.
