A fast-paced led walk around Haste Hill and Ruislip Woods, both offering stunning views, covering 5 miles on various routes. It is run by Hillingdon Council and is a grade 5 walk, their most challenging kind, suitable for people with a good level of fitness. The meeting point is opposite Northwood Hills Station, with no need to book; walkers should arrive 10 minutes before the start for registration. Paths get very muddy and uneven, so suitable off-road footwear should be worn, and dogs except guide or assistance dogs are not allowed.
