Portrait Drawing (Autumn)
Landmark Arts Centre, Ferry Road, TW11 9NN Teddington, Ham
About
Portrait Drawing is a weekly art class in the studio focused on drawing the head, learning the proportions of the head, neck and facial features and how the underlying structure shapes the surface form. Working from a clothed portrait model while sitting or standing at an easel, participants explore line, tone, sculptural mass and mark-making with a range of materials. The course is taught by Emily Burton, an illustrator and drawer with a BA in Graphic Design and an MA in Drawing and nearly twenty years of teaching experience, who aims to create a supportive environment that nurtures confidence.
