About
A concert launching trumpeter, producer and bandleader Louis Dowdeswell's new album 'Out of Print', classical music reimagined for big band and symphonic brass by arranger Callum Au. Thirty musicians perform the album in full, with pieces like Danse Macabre, Clair de Lune and Nessun Dorma scored where strings become screaming trumpets and the line between classical and jazz blurs. It also marks Louis' last UK solo appearance for the foreseeable future, promising a once-in-a-lifetime concert from one of the world's most original brass voices.
