About
A screening of the Japanese comedy Love Exposure, directed by Sion Sono and starring Takahiro Nishijima, Hikari Mitsushima and Sakura Andô. It tells of a teenage boy, Yu, who falls for Yoko, a girl he meets while working as an "up-skirt" photographer in a porn industry offshoot. His courtship is complicated by cross-dressing that convinces Yoko she is lesbian, kung-fu and crime, and the guilt left by his Catholic upbringing. It runs 237 minutes and carries an 18 certificate for very strong bloody violence and sex references.
