MARTELLO PAINTCLUB 2: a group painting show
SPACE Mare Street
Free and all welcome
About
MARTELLO PAINTCLUB 2: a group painting show is a group painting exhibition at SPACE Mare Street, free and open to all. It shows the work of Paintclub, a monthly gathering of painters set up in 2024 by artist Polly Townsend and held at SPACE's Martello Street studios. Paintclub brings painters together to share and discuss ideas around the practice of painting, aiming to encourage and support practitioners to make work. This is the second Paintclub show at SPACE Pop-Up, with twelve exhibiting artists including Polly Townsend, Hugh Mendes and Nicola Hepworth.
