Meeting Mohini is a free photographic display at the Horniman Museum. It looks at Koovagam and spotlights Indian transgender culture through the lens of Zoya Thomas Lobo, India's first transgender photojournalist. Her images follow the ancient Hindu festival celebrating the marriage of the goddess Mohini to Aravan, which thousands of transgender women, non-binary and gender non-conforming people gather each year to reenact. It is her first solo exhibition and first outside India, also centring her own experiences in Mumbai.
