Coltrane at 100: Baptiste and Crosby play spiritual jazz.

One Jazz presents Coltrane at 100, an afternoon concert celebrating the centenary of saxophonist John Coltrane. Two of the UK's most acclaimed jazz musicians, Denys Baptiste and Gary Crosby, play a selection of classics from Coltrane's spiritual jazz canon. Bass player Crosby, founder of Tomorrow's Warriors and the only jazz musician awarded the Queen's Medal for Music, is joined by saxophonist Baptiste, a Tomorrow's Warrior himself and a devoted student of Coltrane's music. The show takes place in the restored Chapel of Abney Park Cemetery, the latest in a series of sold-out One Jazz performances there.
