Duke Ellington's music by Jazz at Trades, festival special.
- Walthamstow Trades Hall
- Price unknown
About
Jazz at Trades is Walthamstow's premier jazz night, and for this London Jazz Festival special it celebrates the 2026 festival with ambitious new arrangements of the music of Duke Ellington. The music is played by an all-star group of improvisers who, as bandleaders and composers themselves, constantly seek to expand the language of their own music, much like Ellington himself. The lineup features Kim Macari on trumpet, Reiss Ellis Beckles on alto saxophone, Riley Stone-Lonergan on tenor saxophone, Olly Chalk on piano, Tom Rivière on double bass and George Grundy on drums.
