About
After John – Cosmic Music of Alice Coltrane is a live music performance at the Vortex Jazz Club. Award-winning duo Alina Bzhezhinska on harp and Tony Kofi on saxophone, joined by tabla virtuoso Yousuf Ali Khan, celebrate the visionary music Alice Coltrane created after the passing of her husband and musical collaborator John Coltrane. Blending jazz, Indian classical traditions and spiritual improvisation, the two-set performance takes audiences on an immersive journey of beauty, contemplation and joy. Created exclusively for the EFG London Jazz Festival, it is a rare, one-off event.
