Pop-up Maker Space: craft your own autumn paper lantern.
About
A free lunchtime drop-in craft session where you can make a paper lantern sleeve inspired by autumn shapes, silhouettes and patterns, a simple craft celebrating the changing season and darker evenings. It is run by LU Arts as part of their Pop-up Maker Space, with self-led activities suitable for all, simple instructions to follow, and basic art materials such as paper, paints, origami and colouring sheets provided. Whether you have 15 minutes or an hour, there is something to make in the time you have, and a Student Ambassador will be on hand to welcome you and chat. The session takes place on the ground floor foyer, which has step-free access with accessible toilets nearby.
