About

Pressure: The D-Day Decision is a temporary display aboard HMS Belfast, a historic warship moored by the River Thames, exploring the weather forecast that shaped the D-Day landings. It was created by Imperial War Museums in partnership with STUDIOCANAL and the Met Office, and looks at the tense 72 hours before the invasion decision of the Second World War. The display brings together rarely seen objects, historic documents and eyewitness testimony, including Group Captain James Stagg's personal diary and a memo from General Dwight D. Eisenhower. Entry is included with a ticket to HMS Belfast.
