About
An exhibition trail of thirty life-size illustrated characters dotted around the Southbank Centre venue. The illustrator Quentin Blake created the figures to mark 75 years since the Festival of Britain and to honour the pioneers in dance, music, literature and art who have appeared at the centre since 1951. Among the characters to look out for are dancers, skaters, parkour athletes, opera singers and a violinist.
