About

A major art exhibition at Tate Britain celebrating the painters Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, two of the most celebrated British artists of the twentieth century. Organised by Tate Britain in collaboration with Charleston, it explores the pair's creative partnership of more than 50 years and their legacy as core members of the Bloomsbury Group. Over 300 works are on show, including portraits, still lives, landscape paintings, ceramics and textiles, plus a restaging of the artists' studio relocated from their Sussex home, Charleston. The exhibition also traces the group's commitment to lives of freedom and radical experimentation, which shaped art, literature and societal thought in Britain.
