Brent libraries, Kilburn library
About
A Remembrance Day service marking the rededication of the Kilburn Grammar School War Memorial, honouring former pupils who died in the First and Second World Wars. It is held by the Kilburn Grammar School Old Boys' Association, which originally commissioned the memorial clock in 1919 for former pupils lost in WWI. The memorial clock, plaques and WWII panels stand in Kilburn Library as a lasting tribute and a tangible link to local history. Light refreshments are provided, and it suits ages 10 and over with a responsible adult.
