About
A lunchtime recital in the Shaw Library at the London School of Economics, given by the duo Sarah Williamson and Simon Callaghan. Clarinettist Sarah Williamson is praised by critics for her sonorous timbre and natural musicality, while pianist Simon Callaghan performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician and records widely. Their programme includes Joseph Horovitz's Sonatina for Clarinet & Piano, Farhad Poupel's Nocturne, and Brahms's Clarinet Sonata in E flat op.120 no.2. The concert is part of the LSE Arts Lunchtime Concert Series, which puts on free weekly music concerts in the Shaw Library.
