About
A live one-man performance of two Charles Dickens ghost stories, 'The Signal-Man' and 'The Trial for Murder', staged in a room of the Charles Dickens Museum like a gathering in Dickens's own drawing room. Actor James Swanton, known for screen and BBC horror roles, tells the tales, which follow a railway signal-man haunted by a warning figure and a man tormented by a murdered enemy's spectre. The horror writer Ramsey Campbell called the double bill an unforgettable experience. The performance lasts 60 minutes and is recommended for ages 12 and up.
