About
Simile is a bold show for young people, by young people, blending poetry, physical theatre, dance, and spoken word into a high-energy celebration of growing up. It is performed by Highly Sprung Performance Company and inspired by the GCSE anthology Worlds and Lives. Three friends revise the night before a poetry exam: one is being trolled, another struggling to hold it together, and a dark secret binds them together. Co-written by Mark Worth, Highly Sprung, and Jasmine Gardosi with The Co-Creatives Group, aged 13-18, it explores the excitement, fear, and hope of finding your you.
