The Southwest London Sickle Cell Nutrition Fair brings together patients, parents and carers, and service providers in sickle cell. It celebrates the end of the inaugural Southwest London Specialist Sickle Cell Nutrition Education Programme. The day opens with an educational African and Caribbean focussed food demonstration and interactive food tasting session by the Food For Purpose Team, highlighting the sickle cell nutrition Eat-well Guide. There will also be nutrition and wellbeing talks, health and nutrition stalls, family activities, certificates for programme attendees, networking, and a culturally inspired light lunch.
