Wishfulfilling Jewel with Tsog: a Buddhist prayer session.

Temple Prayers: Wishfulfilling Jewel with Tsog is a Buddhist prayer session combining two practices of the New Kadampa Tradition of Mahayana Buddhism. It is held by the Kadampa Meditation Centre and includes a Guru Yoga visualizing the Spiritual Guide as Je Tsongkhapa, and a practice of relying on the Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden. Practising these is said to purify negativity, accumulate merit, receive blessings, overcome obstacles and bring Dharma realizations leading towards full enlightenment. It is traditional, though not required, to bring an offering of food or drink.
