The Magic Flute - Royal Ballet and Opera

The Magic Flute - Royal Ballet and Opera is a staging of Mozart's most popular opera at the Royal Opera House. The last opera Mozart composed before his death, it sends Prince Tamino, guided by a magic flute and the bird-catcher Papageno, on a perilous quest to rescue Princess Pamina from the enchanter Sarastro. Dalia Stasevska and Julia Jones conduct two casts in David McVicar's five-star production, a tale blending fairy tale, comedy and farce, romance, moral allegory and philosophy. It features iconic music such as the Queen of the Night's aria 'Der Hölle Rache' and runs about three hours including one interval.
