About
The Mind's Weather is an exhibition of new paintings by Christopher Le Brun at Lisson Gallery in London. The artist presents an extensive sequence of canvases informed by a lifetime's thinking about painting, showing his mastery of colour and touch. The works explore the fundamental characteristics of painting: surface and depth, tone and light, memory and imagination. The title highlights the vital role that changeability, or openness to change, plays in Le Brun's paintings.
