About

The Poozies bring their music to Blackheath Halls. The band began 35 years ago as an all-woman folk group and features Mary Macmaster's electro-harp, twin fiddles from Eilidh Shaw and Sarah McFadyen, guitarist Michael Bryan and drummer Donald Hay. Their 2026 sound blends traditional Scottish folk with bold new music in what they call Trad-Punk. Expect energy, attitude, irresistible rhythms and room for dancing.
