The Rocky Horror Picture Show
About
A screening of the 1975 musical film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, presented as a special screening in memory of Tim Curry. Directed by Jim Sharman and starring Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick and Meat Loaf, it follows sweethearts Brad and Janet, who, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a cross-dressing scientist. As their innocence is lost, they meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler, while through elaborate dances and rock songs Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named 'Rocky'. Dressing up is optional but encouraged.

Critics
7.3Very good
Critics praise Tim Curry's flamboyant lead performance, the catchy songs and the film's unique camp appeal and cult energy. Faults include a thin, laboured story, repetitive songs and the view that it only truly works as a live communal experience.
