About

The Tiger Lillies: Songs for The Dead is a concert by the band The Tiger Lillies, making its world premiere at Soho Theatre as part of a Day of the Dead celebration dedicated to their favourite subject: death. Created by Soho Theatre and Tim Whitehead, it features Martyn Jacques, Adrian Stout, and Budi Butenop, with songs written by Martyn Jacques spanning mortality, the afterlife, grief, murder, memory, and the strange comedy of our inevitable end. Their blend of dark cabaret, anarchic opera, and black humour is joined by classic songs including Heroin, Gin, and Crack of Doom alongside new compositions from their brand-new album of the same name.
