About

A live concert by The Wellermen at Union Chapel, presented by DHP. The group is a transatlantic folk act known for rich harmonies, a dual bass foundation and a modern take on traditional sea shanties and folk, who rose to global attention in 2021 through viral performances that sparked the "Wellerman" phenomenon. Since then they have blended East Coast American folk sensibilities with British musicianship and theatrical energy, releasing two critically acclaimed albums followed by the 2026 EP "1778" and a successful US tour. The show follows their most ambitious phase to date, with a completed third studio album that is their first fully original body of work, built on storytelling and harmony-led songwriting.
