This Thursday Lunchtime Concert is a solo piano recital at St Mary le Strand, part of the church's Lunchtime Concerts series. The pianist is Winnie Ng, an American from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who began piano lessons at age six, studied at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, and has just completed a Masters degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama while working and residing in London. As a soloist and chamber musician she has performed across the UK and abroad, and has received coaching and masterclasses from musicians such as Michelle Cann, Martin Roscoe and Noriko Ogawa. Her programme spans Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata, Debussy's Images Book II, Berg's Sonata Op. 1 and Chopin's Ballade No. 4.
