About
The Treasures Tour of the National Maritime Museum is a guided tour taking in some of the Museum's most prized and lesser-known objects, from royal barges and Roman anchors to Tudor ship models, historic maps and figureheads. It is run by the National Maritime Museum and led by a friendly, knowledgeable guide who takes visitors through multiple galleries, exploring items from across the globe. Highlights include meeting a Fijian canoe, hearing tales of polar exploration, marvelling at the oldest boat in the collection and learning about life at sea in the age of Nelson. The tour lasts 50-60 minutes, is suitable for adults and children, and starts at the Information Desk on the ground floor.
