About
October half term at the National Maritime Museum is a family programme of craft workshops and storytelling themed around bugs and creepy crawlies, with something different each day of the holidays. It is run by Royal Museums Greenwich, whose conservators, astronomers and invited performers lead activities such as puppet making, live science shows and a bug-themed music workshop. Many activities are free and drop-in, with no need to book in advance, and the Cove outdoor playground is open every day too. Workshops are designed for children and their carers to learn together, planned on the basis of each adult bringing up to four children.
