About
Unexpected Views is a series of conversations between National Gallery curators and leading living artists, looking at selected paintings from the collection. In this session, curator Daniel F. Herrmann is joined by the Scottish painter Caroline Walker, whose work reflects on the social, cultural and economic experiences of women. They discuss Walker's practice in relation to Edouard Manet's 'Corner of a Café-Concert'. The talk takes place in Room 41 and is free, with ticket booking required.
