About
An exclusive members-only visit to Crosby Moran Hall, a significant surviving medieval domestic building in London that is not normally open to the public. Historic Buildings & Places offers a guided tour of the building's architecture, interiors and collections, followed by a traditional afternoon tea prepared on site. The hall dates to between 1466 and 1475, was built in Bishopsgate by the merchant Sir John Crosby, and was moved and rebuilt in Chelsea in 1910 under Walter H. Godfrey. Since 1988 it has been the private home of Dr Christopher Moran, who has restored it and filled it with a notable collection of art and historic pieces.
