Writing to Uncover the Self

Writing to Uncover the Self is a series of writing workshops returning to St Margaret's House for three autumn sessions, with this session devoted to the aphorism: articulating deep insights and writing precisely and authentically through collaborative and individual activities. The facilitator is F. Zeeshan Choudhury, a professional teacher, writer and facilitator who runs the queer writer's circle at The Common Press bookstore and hosts events around Tower Hamlets. Using games, discussion and inventive writing prompts, the workshop invites participants to explore the self through writing and leave with a finished piece, and is ideal for individuals seeking answers to a significant question within themselves. It takes place in The Create Place at St Margaret's House, which has step-free entry though the toilet is not accessible.
