You Fuckers Figure It Out: A Jason Molina Story

About
A documentary screening followed by an in-person Q&A with the director. 'You Fuckers Figure It Out: A Jason Molina Story', directed by Tommy Nickoloff, conjures the spirit of indie-rock icon Jason Molina (1973-2013) through Ohio insiders who illuminate his coming of age on Lake Erie and the creation of his legendary band Songs: Ohia. The film celebrates the contradictions of his raunchy humour, propensity to lie and refusal to interpret lyrics, weaving them into a haunting legacy unconfined by the record vault. The Ohio insiders trace how he escaped the indifference of an artless steel town, a story told through those who knew him best.
