About

9th Annual Raptorama at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge is a free festival about the birds of prey of Jamaica Bay. The National Park Service hosts it with partners Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy, American Littoral Society, New York City Bird Alliance and New York City Plover Project. Visitors can see live raptor demonstrations by the Wildlife Center of Long Island, join guided hawk walks with rangers during fall migration, and enjoy family-friendly activities at partner tables. There is also a Junior Ranger program and a raptor slideshow presentation.
