Brick Presbyterian Church, Park Avenue 1140, 10128 New York, Manhattan
About
A morning lecture in Adult Christian Education at Brick Presbyterian Church, held in the Third Floor Living Room and also on Zoom, with coffee and snacks and childcare from 9:00 AM. It is given by Michael Musgrave, who teaches music history at the Juilliard School and is author and editor of six books on Brahms. He considers the originality of the German Requiem, its background and its place in Brahms's output. The talk prepares hearts and minds for the church's Brahms Requiem event a week later.
