An afternoon talk and book signing featuring Helen Drutt, one of the most influential voices in contemporary jewelry. Senior Curator Barbara Paris Gifford will interview her longtime friend and colleague about Drutt's career and her four decades of championing contemporary jewelry across the United States and Germany. Afterward, Drutt will be joined by participating artists for a signing of 'Among Friends: American and German Jewelry Artists from the Helen Williams Drutt Collection', a new publication honoring her forty years of travel between the two countries. The book was published through a collaboration of three Munich institutions: the Danner Foundation, Die Neue Sammlung, and Galerie Handwerk.
