An evening of chamber music devoted entirely to the composer Martin Bresnick, marking his 80th birthday. A roster of artists performs his recent works, including three New York premieres, with pieces for cello, violin, piano, clarinet, saxophone quartet and a percussion-piano quartet. Bresnick taught for fifty years at the Yale School of Music and counts among the most influential teachers in contemporary American composition.
