Ari's Sunday Salon: Brahms's late piano works and stories.

Ari's Sunday Salon: Brahms at Twilight is an intimate concert-portrait pairing Brahms's late piano miniatures (Opuses 116–119) with brief spoken vignettes. Pianist Ari Livne, a classically trained performer based in New York City who loves telling stories with and about music, explores what a great composer writes amidst loss and decline. Through Brahms's daily routines, letters, friendships, and frustrations, the program reveals the private human being behind the public legend. It takes place at Soapbox Gallery, and a live stream is offered alongside in-person attendance.
