Charles Lloyd Quartet with Bill Frisell: jazz legend live.

The Charles Lloyd Quartet featuring Bill Frisell, Larry Grenadier & Kweku Sumbry performs at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City. It is led by Charles Lloyd, an NEA Jazz Master and decorated tenor saxophonist who was voted DownBeat's Artist of the Year in 1967 and again in 2023. Lloyd has led acclaimed groups for decades, from his 1960s quartet with Keith Jarrett and Jack DeJohnette to his group The Marvels with guitarist Bill Frisell. The evening brings his long history of post-bop, free jazz and world music to the intimate club stage.
