About
Chinese Arts Workshop Series: Sip & Brush – Calligraphy is a calligraphy workshop at the Museum of Chinese in America, part of a series inspired by the museum's special exhibition Ed Young's Bright Worlds. Teaching Artist Yu Rong, a New York–based multimedia artist and educator, leads participants in learning foundational brush techniques and creating autumn-inspired characters and compositions. In a relaxed, social studio setting, participants can also practice writing their names in Chinese calligraphy with personalized guidance. All materials, including brushes and ink, are provided, and everyone leaves with their own calligraphy artwork.
