About

A hands-on beginner workshop where participants make their own custom silkscreen and learn to print on paper or fabric, going home with a screen of their own design and prints. It is hosted by NYC Resistor, a Brooklyn space that runs proactively inclusive, 18+ events. The instructor is Benjamin Wilgus, a cartoonist with a long history of DIY printmaking and self-publishing, and the class uses inexpensive, non-toxic, paint-on techniques that are easy to reproduce at home.
