About
OIL PAINT STICK MONOTYPE // NOVEMBER is a two-session workshop in which students make one-off monotypes that bridge painting and printmaking, using oil paint sticks, brushes, handmade stencils, scrapers and even fingers on plexiglass plates. It is taught by instructor Alessandro Levato at the EFA Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop and is aimed at painters looking to get into printmaking or anyone who likes to work fluidly. Tuition is $240 for members and $290 for non-members for the two-week session, or $330 and $380 for the optional three-week version, with the price including materials. Classes come with free studio time that expires one month after the final class, and an online processing fee is not included.
