RU Workshop: Monoprint Creative Workshop

A hands-on workshop on monoprinting, a printmaking form where every print is a single, one-of-a-kind impression. It is led by Graciela Cassel, a 2016 alum of Residency Unlimited, a New York organization for artists. Participants apply ink or paint to a smooth non-porous surface, experiment with additive and subtractive techniques, and transfer designs to paper by press or hand-printing, with mixed-media approaches like stencils, stamps, collage and chine-collé. No previous experience is required, all materials are provided, and the session is limited to 12 participants with RSVP required.
