About
A beginner art class called Drawing for Absolute Beginners: Botanicals, offered by Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Taught by instructor Nan Carey, it starts with observation as the first step in drawing, helping students understand the structure of a flower or plant. Participants learn to draw a floral specimen using a step-by-step method that incorporates perspective and detail. Students provide their own supplies, for which a materials list is given.
