Eivind Opsvik Overseas

A jazz concert by the band Overseas at Bar LunAtico. The group is led by Norwegian-born, New York-based bassist and composer Eivind Opsvik, with Tony Malaby on tenor sax, Brandon Seabrook on guitar, Jacob Sacks on piano and Kenny Wollesen on drums. This lineup has existed for twenty years, blending art rock songcraft with progressive jazz spontaneity and reshaping its sound for each recording. The New York Times has called their music some of the most slyly fascinating on the scene today.
